About Travel to Brazil

Hi, I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Rogério Konzen, and I’m a Brazilian living in Brazil — which means I don’t just write about this country, I live it every day.

Why I Created This Site

Most travel content about Brazil available in English is written by people who visited once, spent a week in Rio, and called it a day. Brazil deserves better than that.

This country is enormous — larger than the continental United States. It has the Amazon, yes, but also the Pantanal (the world’s largest tropical wetland), the red sand dunes of Lençóis Maranhenses, the colonial gold towns of Minas Gerais, the wild beaches of the Northeast, the wine country of Rio Grande do Sul, and so much more that rarely makes it into a travel guide.

What You’ll Find Here

Destination Guides

Written from local knowledge — not from a week-long tourist trip.

Practical Travel Tips

Visas, transport, safety, culture — everything you need to travel Brazil confidently.

Hidden Gems

Places most international tourists never reach, recommended by someone who actually lives here.

About Me

I’m based in Brazil and have spent years exploring destinations that rarely appear in international travel guides. My goal is simple: help travelers from the US, Europe, and beyond discover the Brazil that Brazilians actually know — not just the postcard version.
